The week has been pretty busy here at The Collector. Our publication is gaining momentum and now has more than 3000 views in just 11 days.

The Collector was launched one and a half weeks ago and this is our first weekly newsletter. We intend to keep this brief and promote community updates, featured stories from the week, and upcoming changes with any other important announcements.

Community Updates

  • Our September Monthly Writing Challenge has received an incredible response. With another 10 days remaining for the last day of submission, we have already received a couple of articles. Things are getting pretty competitive. If you have not already read about the challenge, the link is at the end of this email.
  • We’re brainstorming ways to make the community more active and valuable. We have some great ideas to better connect members and readers together. Changes are coming soon to address some of the important topics related to curation and formatting. Also, we welcome any ideas that you have on collector.medium@gmail.com. We want this to be a collaborative effort and we are open to any constructive criticism or suggestions.
  • If you have not already, please do connect with us on twitter https://twitter.com/collector_pub
  • The Collector now has 56 followers, 60+ stories, and 12+ active writers.
